Cheese 2017: in the city of Bra raw milk and natural cheese are celebrated

The milk in all its shapes is the theme of Cheese, the biennial event held for 20 years in the small town of Bra, in the province of Cuneo. Organized by the association Slow Food in collaboration with the municipality of Bra, the 11th edition will see as protagonists the cheesemakers that today still produce the cheese with unpasteurised or “raw” milk.

Right for this, the demonstration of this year, which will take place between the 15th and the 18th of September, is titled “The General States of raw milk”, a name that recalls the desire of defending the antique dairy tradition, which a little at a time is becoming more and more a niche. A place of honour is reserved to natural cheese as well, meaning those products without the use of industrial yeasts.

What does Cheese 2017 offer?

Things to see are so many, to do and naturally to enjoy in this edition of Cheese 2017. The event, like every year, will be ‘free entry’ formula and it will be held in the historical centre of Bra, livening up streets and squares.
