Ingredients

  • 230 g of all-purpose flour
  • 225 g of sugar
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • half a teaspoon of salt
  • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • 75 ml of seed oil
  • Orange zest
  • 250 of liquid, composed by milk and the juice of one orange

Preparation

  • In a bowl mix the flour, 150 g of sugar, salt, baking powder and the orange zest.
  • Then, take another bowl, separate the yolks from the egg white, and beat them until stiff, adding sugar little by little, until you’ll obtain a good texture.
  • Mix the milk with the orange juice, pouring more than half of the liquid in the first bowl together with the seed oil, then mix everything with an electric whisk for 1 minute.
  • Add the rest of the liquid and the yolks in the same bowl and mix together with the electric whisk for 1 minute.
  • Finally, add the whipped egg whites and mix everything from top to bottom.
  • Transfer the mixture into a floured mold and bake at 175 degrees for 40-45 minutes, we suggest you to do the toothpick test: insert a toothpick into the cake, remove it and check if it is dry, this is a sign of a perfect cooking.

Orange or lemon plum cake

Orange or lemon plum cake is your perfect choice if you want a natural and fragrant cake, easy to prepare and perfect for your most delicious snacks.

 

Ingredients

  • 210 g of  flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 80 ml of seed oil
  • 160 ml of orange or lemon juice
  • 1 orange or lemon
  • 50 g of starch
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 16 g of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  • In a bowl, pour 2 eggs and the granulated sugar, mix with a whisk until the mixture becomes frothy.
  • Add  the seed oil slowly and continue whisking.
  • Filter the orange or lemon juice through a strainer and add it to the mixture
  • Add salt, flour, starch, baking powder, and previously grated zest.
  • Mix everything delicately with a spatula and transfer the mixture into a buttered plum cake mold.
  • Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. We always suggest you to do the toothpick test in order to have a perfectly baked cake.

Carrot cake

Carrot cake

Carrot cake, rich in vitamin C and precious nutritional values, is a simple and delicious dessert that combines taste and well-being. Perfect for those looking for a light and healthy sweet break.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 300 g of carrots
  • 150 ml of milk
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 100 g of seed oil
  • 250 g of allpurpose flour
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 sachet of vanilla flavoring

Preparation

  • Wash the carrots and mince them finely after  cutting the ends.
  • In a bowl, pour the milk, eggs, sugar, seed oil and mix well for a few minutes.
  • Add the flour, baking powder and vanilla to the mixture and mix until you’ll obtain a smooth consistency.
  • Pour the minced carrots into the mixture and mix everything together.
  • Transfer the mixture into a well-floured cake pan and bake in your pre-heated oven to 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes.

After testing with a toothpick and making sure your cake is perfectly baked, let your carrot cake cool down and sprinkle it with icing sugar to obtain an even sweeter and more delicate flavor.

Jam and ricotta cake

The ricotta and jam cake is also prepared with just two eggs, it represents a combination of simplicity and irresistible taste. Ideal to start your day in the best way or as a delicious afternoon break.

  • 80 ml of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g of allpurpose flour
  • 1 sachet of vanilla flavoring
  • 50 g of starch
  • 170 g of granulated sugar
  • 140 g of ricotta
  • 120 ml of corn oil
  • Lemon zest
  • Strawberry jam to fill
  • 1 sachet of baking powder

Preparation

  • In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar with a whisk until the mixture becomes
  • Add the seed oil slowly, the ricotta and the flour and sifted starch, add the lemon zest and a pinch of salt.
  • Add the baking powder to the mixture and mix until you’ll obtain a smooth texture.
  • Pour the mixture in a buttered mold and after leveling it, proceed adding the jam: use a spoon to spread it evenly.
  • Bake it in your preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 40 minutes. Once again, help yourself with the toothpick test in order to obit a perfectly baked cake,

 

The choice of the jam is very personal, we suggest you the  strawberry jam , but the ricotta cake matches perfectly with any kind of jam and taste.
